October makeup favourites πŸ’„πŸ‚

Last month all my dark berry lips and dark nudes came out of hibernation ready for autumn β˜ΊοΈπŸ‚

I seem to really start to enjoy experimenting different products and shades at this time of year. When the evenings start getting longer, the days get shorter and the weather gets colder. I feel it’s a great time to change up your makeup style and introduce some darker tones, berry lips and golden eyes all the way!

So here are some of my favourite makeup products from last month. πŸ’•πŸ

1. Benefit work famous neautrals eyeshadow palette Β£23.50

Recently I have been loving this palette, especially if I don’t have a lot of time in the morning I can just whack a one of these on and they last all day without creasing!

There are 2 cream eyeshadows:

– my two cents (golden organge colour).                                                         – birthday suit (silvery with a hint of gold colour)

These creams are very pigmented and are so easy to use. They are a great consistency and don’t feel heavy on the eyes. πŸ‘πŸΌ

There are 4 powder eyeshadows:

– call my buff (white/creamy colour with a hint of shimmer).        – it’s complicated (pink/coral shimmery colour)                                – kiss me I’m tipsy (dark brown colour with hints of gold shimmer).                                              – guilty pleasure (gold shimmer colour)

The powders are also very pigmented apart from call my buff which isn’t as pigmented. They have no fall out and apply really easily.

Overall I fricking love this palette a lot πŸ˜‚πŸ’•

2.  Old No7 palette

(These eyeshadows don’t actually have names because it’s really old)

This palette was originally my Mom’s but I kinda borrowed it forever πŸ˜‹

The pigment in these shadows is amazing. They are so easy to apply and have a lovely finish to them.

My favourites are definetley the golds and the white and pink (at the top), especially as it’s autumn I’ve been loving going for a gold eye these two golds are gorgeous for it and really bring the blue out in my eyes.

Definetley try and get this palette if you can still buy it! The colours are amazing 😍

3. Maybelline lash sensational mascara Β£7.99

Everybody raves about this mascara and how good it is, and honestly there speaking the truth.

It makes my lashes look so long and full making my eyes look bigger than they already are.

The mascara itself never gets clumpy (until it’s really old) but I never have to pull clumps off my eyelashes or anything like that.

Basically everybody needs this mascara in their life. πŸ‘πŸΌ

4. Nivea men post shave balm Β£5.35

Ik your probably thinking, why on earth are you using men’s shaving balm?!!?

Well 1.its a great primer to prime your face with and keeps your makeup on all day locking it in place and 2.it just smells really nice. πŸ˜‚

But yeah I use this all over my face before applying my makeup and it wakens me up and makes me feel really fresh. It really helps to make sure my makeup lasts all day, especially at school doing pe!

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a primer this works perfectly as an alternate and works just as good.

5. Rimmel Kate Moss sculpting Β£6.99

This new sculpting kit by Kate Moss is actually really good.

It has a lovely fairy golden highlight that is very pigmented and creates a beautiful glow on the cheek. A warm fairly shimmery bronze colour that’s great to bronzer up your face when your tan begins to fade. ☺️ And a gorgeous shimmery coral blush colour that works on any skin tone.

My palette is in 002 coral glow, but there is two other similar ones.

6.  Avon brow definer Β£4.00

I’m not to keen on really bold eyebrows so I tend to go for a toned down eyebrow look and with Avon’s eyebrow pencils it very easy to achieve this.

They aren’t quite a pencil more like a waxy sort of consistency and applies very easy but if your heavy handed then you have to be careful. πŸ˜‚

It is very pigmented and adds a good amount of colour to the eyebrow.

7.Collection lasting perfection concealer Β£4.19

This concealer has such good coverage to cover up them dark circles from late nights of watching Netflix and then iggnorant spots that pop up at the wrong times.

The consistency is not to thick or too thin and apples relays nicely. It doesn’t cake up over the day or crease under the eye . With the primer it glides onto my face perfectly.

I would highly recommend this concealer as its a great drugstore product and if you don’t want to spend lots of money on a high end concealer this is a great dupe for many.

8. Tanya Burr cosmetics matte lipstick Β£5.99

I loooooooooooove this matte lipstick in Martha Moo sooo much it’s unbelievable!!! 😍

I wear this nearly everyday as its such a lovely dark pinky nude colour and just looks great on any skin time and works well with any makeup look.

The lipstick is so creamy and not very heavy on the lips. It drys matte in about 30 seconds and lasts a long time on the lips.

It doesn’t come out streaky and has good coverage of the colour so you only need one thin coat of it. (Also it smells really nice πŸ˜‹)

Seriously recommend getting this as you will absolutely love it just like I do. Plus the name is so cuteπŸ’• And its fairy cheap and drugstore so it won’t cost a lot like some other liquid to matte lipstick.

Creating a gold eye berry/nude lip look is one of my favourites around this time of the year as I love the autumn and winter seasons, so when this time of the year comes around i get excited to pop out the dark lips and bobble hats πŸ˜‹πŸ’•

Let me know in the comments some beauty products you love at this time of the year or makeup looks you love creating.
